Fact: College Kids Now Watch More TV

A new study suggests that college kids are watching more TV these days. Last spring, students’ average TV watching per week rose from 10.1 hours to 10.6 hours, compared with Fall 2006. So, what are some of the top show? House, 24, Entourage, Grey’s Anatomy and The Office. What wasn’t so hot? American Idol.

You might think the rising popularity of social networking, cell phones and other new media would be cutting into college students’ television time, but a new report finds that TV viewing among young adults 18-24 is actually increasing.
