A new report from JupiterResearch shows that teens are concerned about the environment and they are online. The report acknowledges that online behavior of green teens mimics that of all teens – but because of their level of online engagement, the web is the best place to reach them. The research also shows that teens that are concerned about the environment are influencers among their peers – making them prime targets of many marketers.

JupiterResearch, a leading authority on the impact of the Internet and emerging consumer technologies on business, has found appreciation for the environment is alive and well among online teens age 13 – 17. Outlined in a new report “Green Teens: Reaching A Trendy, Engaged Audience Online,” some 38 percent of all online teens admit concern for the environment, while 15 percent are hardcore Green Teens.
