Store Chain’s Test Concludes That Nutrition Sells

A store in Maine took some initiative about a year ago and decided to rate the nutrition in food products. After a year, the chain has declared that the rating system steered customers toward foods labeled as healthier. Products received stars based on a formula devised by the store’s advisory board. Only 28% of of the itms sold in the store received 1 or more stars. The rating system also proved to be satisfactory to customers.
