IT MAY HAVE TONES OF sorrel and sod. Whatever the fragrance, Coty Inc., has signed actor and country star Tim McGraw to develop and market his own signature line for the leading perfumery. The fragrance will debut next summer in North America, and the company will distribute the product widely. Marketing plans are in the works.


Steve Mormoris, senior vice president/global marketing at Coty, said in
a release that McGraw represents attainable luxury. “His distinguished
and approachable character positions him as a perfect partner for a new
men’s fragrance.”
